The hotel complex, immersed in a park measuring 60,000 square metres is the result of a meticulous restoration, undertaken the family by which today manages it, of five buildings half destroyed by war. The architecture, today brought back to its antique splendour, tells ancient tales and transports one's imagination back to the 1st century B.C. The four stars hotel sits upon the Gulf of Gaeta facing the sunrise in the area known as "Arcella", conveniently reached by the Via Flacca. Just a short walk away, one finds the beach.
40 en suite rooms of which 2 are adapted for disabled guests 5 are representational suites. All rooms are equipped with: direct-line telephones so easy connection with internet; air-conditioning; mini-bar; radio; TV with satellite reception.
Restaurant: Open from 12:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. and from 8:15 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. with a regional and national cuisine. Seating for up to 260 people. Breakfast buffet from 7:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m.

The lush vegetation of the gardens, the architecture of the historical buildings and the recipes of our Chef provide the ideal ingredients for cocktails, Gala dinners, brunches and every other type of banquet for up to 260 guests.
The pools
The hotel has two pools. The first is rectangular and of Olympic length. Designed primarily for swimming it has a depth at one end of 1.70 metres shallowing to 1.40 metres at the other end. This pools flows into the second which, at a depth of 0,65 metres is ideal for children. A series of semi-circular steps house the Jacuzzi hydromassage. The entire swimming area, including the ample solarium, is surrounded by a hedge at head-height which guarantees privacy from the paths of the park.
The swimming area of the pool is open, exclusively to the hotel guests, from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Sun umbrellas, sun-beds, deckchairs and tables are available either pool-side or upon the grass of the solarium.
Children under the age of 12 are permitted in the pool only if accompanied by a responsible adult. Within the pool grounds the consumption of food is prohibited but drinks and ice-creams are served.
The umbrellas, sun-beds and deckchairs are available to guests during pool hours at no extra charge.

Ventotene Island, residue of an ancient volcano, is less than three kilometres long. Pandataria, as the island was anciently called, was chosen at the end of the First century b.C. by the emperor August as a golden exile for his daughter Giulia, who was confined for her immoral behaviour. The imperial villa, the method of collection and distribution of rain-water, the harbour dug out in tufa, a jewel which is still intact, authentic masterpiece of the engineering of that period, are only a few examples ofthe beauty of Ventotene.
Today we can also admire: the fish-ponds, the salt-cellars, the necropolis of Calabattaglia and the museum where we can find the beauty of the submarine archaelogical richness of Ventotene. The uncontaminated and deep sea, rich of permanent fauna, offers an ideal habitat for the reproduction of innumerable species of fish and for the transit of crowds of cetacean such as dolphins, whales and sperm whales.
Thanks to the particularity of the territory, thousands of migrant birds choose it as a stopping place during their flight from the South of Africa to the North of Europe. Thanks to these characteristics, Ventotene is among the sea and terrestrial parks established in 1998. A few miles away from Ventotene there is the islet of Santo Stefano. Besides the delightful circular tub that Julius once used for his bath, the islet owes its notoriety to the bourbon prison active until the sixties and which today is visited by tourists during excursions and guided visits.
