Giulia manage the farm and the farm holiday itself near by the building. The owner, who keeps the books, propose the journey for walking or cycling, to visit the beautiful villas of renaissance and Etruscan era. We also have on own land on which there is a beautiful Etruscan cave.
Within the area our friend who offers horse riding which is available for all to use. Giulia speaks English, French and Russian.

Agro-Tourism offers you the best basis for visiting the surrounding areas of Alto Lazio, the South of Umbria and Tuscany; Viterbo a city in the land of the Etruscans; Palace Farnese in caprarola; Villa Lante in Bagnagia; Sacro Bosco di Bomarzo and towards Terni is the amazing waterfall of Cascate delle Marmore. About 30 to 40 minutes by car, some other activities are available, in the agro-tourism area of Maneggi, there are fish and hot baths (Terme dei Papi a Viterbo).
On the first floor of the farm holiday Giulia di Gallese you can find seven rooms with beds for 2,3, or 4 persons and mini apartment with a cooking corner, where there is an optimum panoramic view. The bedrooms and the mini apartment are fully equipped with toilet and air conditioning.

In the air around you there is the smell of roses, roses climbing along the arches of a fifteenth century cloister. You are in a countryside that allows you to breathe freely.

Inside the church there is a space of 250 mq, that can easily accommodate working groups, seminars, banquets and ceremonies which require a quiet and reserved environment.
A deep swimming pool takes away the heat of the summer. The food comes from the organic garden of Giulia di Gallese. Food that is genuine and traditional.
Within the comfortable restaurant you can tastes natural and biological food and dishes from the age of local traditions accompanied with optimum local wine. At request, it is possible to prepare vegetarian and macrobiotic dishes.
The local who inserted a bar, is realized to recreate a familiar atmosphere for your hospitality, and so there is TV, an area for reading, breakfast in the morning with a panoramic view and in winter a warming fireplace.
During the summer evenings we organize parties around the swimming pool. The pleasant atmosphere is created by the surrounding countryside and playing lights.
For workgroups, seminars and banquets there are ideal settings within the building (an ex church).
How to reach to Giulia di Gallese:
BY TRAIN: it takes 40 minutes from Rome. Leave the train at Orte. Every hours and quarter a train leaves Orte for Gallese Scalo. From both the Rome and Orte railway stations there are people who can helpyou to locate agriturismo.
BY CAR: first take the autostrada casello - Magliano Sabina on the Rome - Florence Autostrada. Then take the Civita Castellana for 4 km - exit Gallese Scalo - follow Gallese Scalo about 4 km, - cross to Gallese and follow the Agriturismo signs. Another way from Rome is to take the SS. Flaminia to Civita Castellana and follow the signs for Gallese.

The estate of Santa Cristina is nestled amongst the rolling undulating hills of the Lathium, land of the Etruscans, the Ancient Romans and many Popes. The property enjoys a fine position overlooking its very own vineyard and the surrounding countryside of Lathium and Tuscany. Rome awaits you just to the south (72kms-45M) with its enormous historical and cultural heritage revealing archeological sites, splendid renaissance and baroque palaces and of corse the Vatican City, Sovereign Seat of the Pope and home to the largest collection of art and antiquities in the world. The world of Etruscans is also nearby to the west at Viterbo (50kms-31M), Vulci (100kms-62M), Cerveteri and Tuscania (70kms-43M) with its interesting Etruscan tombs, One may also embark on a pilgrimage tracing the footsteps of St.Francis of Assisi which starts at Rieti (51kms-31M). The magnificent Florence is at 210kms (131M).
The Estate of Santa Cristina is placed in Lathium in the village of Magliano Sabina (Rieti). The property is formed by two similar villas that both have a private garden with pergola. Each villa sleeps eight and is divided in the following way.
Ground floor: large living room with cable TV, dining area, fireplace, large south-facing sun window, full fitted kitchen with dishwasher, washing machine and oven, breakfast room, twin bedded room with ensuite bathroom (disabled wc).
First floor: double bedded room with ensuite bathroom, two twin bedded rooms with ensuite bathrooms.
The swimming-pool, shared between the two villas, is immersed in its own garden with views of the estate. There are 2 dressing rooms, each with showers, wc and sink.
From Rome and Florence: Motorway A1 - exit Magliano Sabina. Follow the signs for Magliano Sabina first, then to Rieti - Montebuono - Calvi Dell’Umbria. After 6 kms follow the signs for “Agriturismo Santa Cristina”.
From Fiumicino Airport: From circular road of Rome (GRA) in direction of Florence, take Motorway A1 to Florence – exit Magliano Sabina (see above). Follow the signs for Magliano Sabina first, then to Rieti - Montebuono - Calvi Dell’Umbria. After 6 kms follow the signs for “Agriturismo Santa Cristina”.
